Blue Horse Studio: Where creativity and intuition bloom

Indoor art studio with a table covered in paint supplies, including small containers of colorful paints, brushes, and paper, near a large window overlooking a desert scene with cactus plants and trees.

Step into the bright and welcoming studio where your creative essence is lovingly nurtured and connecting with your own powerful intuition is the key.

Marla offers both individual instruction and facilitated groups in Process Painting.

My goal is to offer an inviting, safe space where creative expression is welcomed without judgement and participants can soften into the joy of the present moment, where the quiet voice of intuition is best heard.

Important Note: No painting experience is required!

Process Painting is a unique activity which allows participants to engage spontaneously in the act of painting, purely for the sake of the experience.  We set aside the intention, or even hope, of producing a desired product (the painting), and instead allow our creativity to flow out freely.  Although, this is often a challenge, as it goes against all our civilized education and societal norms, you will be fully accepted and supported while breaking ‘the rules’.

“Today was so much fun! I don’t know if I’ve ever been so relaxed. Totally out of the norm for me. I definitely want to explore further. Painting may be the cure for me.
